Fincher Statement On Budget Control Act Of 2011
Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Stephen Fincher (R-Frog Jump) voted in favor of the Budget Control Act of 2011. The bill, which passed the U.S. House of Representatives this evening, would cut federal spending more than it increases the debt limit, places a cap on future federal spending and advances a vote on a balanced budget amendment.
